Early Intervention Therapists – OT, PT, SLP, and RD (Part-time)

 

Status: Part-time, less than 20 hours per week
Schedule: Monday – Friday, flexible hours based on referral needs
Location: Varies based on referrals
Sign-on Bonus: $1,000

• Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Physical Therapist (PT)
• Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Registered Dietitian (RD)

What We’re Looking For:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with 2 to 5 years of related experience OR Master’s degree in a related discipline with 0 to 2 years of related experience
• Pennsylvania state licensure in your discipline (or eligible for licensure)
• OT applicants: Board certification from NBCOT
• SLP applicants: Completion of ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC)
• RD applicants: Completion of an Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) approved program
• Eligible for PA Promise Enrollment
• Not on CMS Exclusion List
• Valid driver’s license with at least 6 months of driving experience
• Access to a vehicle with valid insurance, registration, and inspection
• Ability to communicate, read, write, and understand English
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

As an Early Intervention Therapist, you’ll partner with families to support development, independence, and well-being through community-based therapy services. You’ll play a key role in helping children reach milestones and supporting caregivers with practical, hands-on strategies.

 

What You’ll Do:
• Assist in developing outcomes, strategies, and data collection methods based on the child’s Evaluation Report (ER) and Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP)
• Assess the needs, interests, and abilities of the child and family to determine appropriate ways to help meet functional goals related to therapy or nutrition services
• Provide families with individual session notes that include outcomes, strategies used, recommendations, and plans for the next session
• Provide updates and information for quarterly reviews and annual evaluations in accordance with county guidelines
• Offer support, feedback, and practical strategies to help families assist their child in achieving IFSP goals
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with IFSP team members to meet the needs of the child and family
• Fulfill transportation requirements to complete home visits and community-based therapy sessions
• Maintain current mandated paperwork including state license, clearances, required training, and certifications related to your discipline
